Disclaimer: Today’s open thread begins with an apology to those in the less fortunate states because Sydney had some glorious weather this weekend. A little more ‘get outside and play in the sunshine’, than ‘stay at home and read’.
Saying that this Time Magazine article is worth a ponder. A recent study by a British social networking site has found that the average person doesn’t find true happiness until they reach the tender age of 33.
Same goes for this fascinating and tabloidy tale from the UK’s Daily Mail (otherwise known as THE bible of all tabloidy tales). It’s a story about seven year old Kian and Remee, twin girls who were born a minute apart. Only Kian is black and Remee is white.
For something a little more high-brow, try this excellent piece from James Risen of The New York Times about the clash between the CIA and the White House in regard to their dealings with Iran.
Now back to you. What got your toes curling in the reading department this weekend?
