Grocon

I’ve seen a lot of things in the construction industry during my 42 years. But the behaviour of the CFMEU leadership this week in Melbourne has been nothing short of appalling.

What year is this again? Picture: Trevor Pinder

They have now maintained an unlawful and illegal blockade at one of the city’s biggest construction sites for a week, preventing people from entering. Let’s look at who is being targeted here- the CFMEU is targeting average Victorians who are trying to get to work.

More than 90 Grocon workers are locked out of their workplace, threatened and intimidated, stopped from doing their jobs by the very union that claims to be protecting them.
