A recently retired guy i worked with said in his speach on leaving that when he and his wife got their first home loan of $7,000 they thought they would never pay it off… Patience, and things will get easier over time.. Read more »

@iain, I’ve had the same occur in my area. Water is now seperate from rates, therefore rates jumped 20% and water around the 10-15% as well. Including body corporate fees being doubled I’m looking at about 1100 per quarter before home loan repayments. It’s damn expensive to own a place… Read more »
