You’re correct of course OO but Anglicization of foreign languages is the current thing. Even the BBC now refuses to stoop to using correct foreign pronunciations and, although they probably now dodge the use of the word, they would pronounce it hyper-bowl. Reggie - The red Ninja pronounced it as hyper-BOWL is what I was saying. I know, as do you and many, many educated people that is pronounced as HY-per-bo-lee but obviously our PM was asleep during that particular english lesson at school. Read more »
