Helen Davidson enjoys writing about music, crazy science and why she’s more right than everyone else. She hates encores almost as much as miming. She worked in a record store, wishing she was Rob Gordon, before entering the media world. After leaving a modified car magazine when she realised she couldn’t tell the difference between a bodykit and a spoiler, Helen scored a job as junior technology reporter for news.com.au.

The other week I went and saw Deep Sea Arcade at the Oxford Arts Factory in Sydney. The support band WIM blew everyone away.

Deep Sea Arcade really impressed me too. They were great. Well, until they did an encore.

You see, it was the launch of their single. On a Wednesday. And it cost $5.
