Years later, procrastinating from her law school studies at the Australian National University, she edited the law school rag, Peppercorn which, during her reign, resembled more a high school year-book than authoritative commentary on the legal world. She also wrote some very mediocre Law Revue scripts which never made it past the first read-through. Throughout her studies she worked part-time in the local lingerie boutique, honing her fitting and diplomacy skills over 4 years. She graduated from law, travelled extensively overseas and returned to Australia to intern with The Deal magazine. Her first by-line was the for the Legal Affairs section of The Australian after which she also wrote & researched for The Deal, The Weekend Australian Magazine, The Weekend Australian and WISH magazine.
