In a moment of weakness, someone decided Bridget could hold the fort while Lucy ran away for three weeks to get married. With big, well loved shoes to fill, Bridget is hoping to bring her A&#45;game to the Open Thread and keep the loyal Punch readers happy until Lucy&#8217;s return.

Bridget really hasn&#8217;t done enough to merit her own biography, but since you asked, she is in the final stages of her Masters Degree at UTS, is a Radio Producer at 2GB and will be heading over to New Zealand to work at the 2011 Rugby World Cup..

She is still waiting for her Punch parents, Tory and Ant to serve her dinner.</description>

            <description>Aussie runway model Andrej Pejic is one gorgeous specimen. With strikingly good looks and legs that go on forever, the Serbian&#45;born beauty has caught the eye of every fashion designer on the planet. Looking fabulous in floor length gowns is no challenge for the 19&#45;year&#45;old supermodel but there&#8217;s just one thing that differentiates Pejic from other models on the catwalk &#45; Andrej Pejic is a man.



Pejic&#8217;s knack for modelling both men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s clothing has sent the well&#45;kept feathers of the fashion world flying. International designers have all clamoured to use his androgynous look while the glitterati flock to catch a glimpse of &#8216;the chick who is actually a dude&#8217;.

I love seeing Pejic looking incredible in mini&#45;skirts and corseted bustiers. Heck, I would kill for his legs. What I don&#8217;t love however, is seeing him waltzing down the runway in clothes that are supposedly designed for women.</description>

            <description>Monday. The single most dreaded word on Sunday nights. But, for most people around the country today (sorry, WA), it&#8217;s a day off for the Queen&#8217;s Birthday. Yippee!



In other news, on this day in 1966, the United States Supreme Court ruled that when arresting somebody, police officers always had to read the suspect their rights. If you&#8217;ve watched as many law and order shows as I have, you&#8217;ll be well versed in this little stanza. &#8220;You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney present during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you. Do you understand these rights?&#8221; Yes sir!

            <title>Friday&#8217;s Dilemma: Can I discipline my friend&#8217;s child?</title>

            <description>We all know kids can be a handful sometimes, but what happens when your friend&#8217;s child is turning into a little terror? Can you say something? &#8216;Gladys&#8217; writes:

My friend and I had our children at around the same time. We try and get them to play together but her son tends to break things or rip books &#45; invariably these are gifts that my daughter has received from other people &#45; and I have to repair them or get rid of them. In one instance, he broke a maraca and I found it in the bottom of the toy box later that week. I think she put it in there so I wouldn&#8217;t find it while she was there.

I realise he&#8217;s just a little baby (boy now), but she never urges him to be gentle or to respect other people&#8217;s things. First question: Can I tell a young visitor, under the supervision of his mother, to be gentle and not to break things? Second question: am I being silly thinking she should offer to fix or replace the things he breaks?</description>

            <description>It&#8217;s Friday. Need we say more? Of course not. But we&#8217;re going to keep talking anyway.



On this day in 1973, a 17&#45;year&#45;old John Paul Getty III was kidnapped in Rome. His captors demanded $17 million from his billionaire grandfather, John Paul Getty in return for his safety. When the demand was refused, the captors cut off John Paul III&#8217;s ear and sent it to his grandfather in an envelope (sorry if you&#8217;re in the middle of your breakfast). Eventually, his family were able to negotiate John Paul III&#8217;s release in December 1973. It&#8217;s all one of the downsides to being the grandson of a billionaire, I guess.

            <description>Happy Johnny Depp Day everyone! OK, maybe that&#8217;s not an actual holiday, but it should be.



On this glorious day in 1963,&amp;nbsp; John Christopher Depp II came into the world. His rugged good looks have won him the hearts of women (not to mention a few men) everywhere and have seen him pocket more than $20 million for a single movie. That could be why he now owns his own private island in the Bahamas.

Tough life huh? Maybe his next investment will be a small country. I hear Lichtenstein is on the rental market for $US70,000 a night. Thursday&#8217;s a great day&#8230; or is it? Tell us.</description>
