Tim Wilson
Tim Wilson is the Director of the Intellectual Property and Free Trade Unit at the Institute of Public Affairs.
He’s a frequent commentator in the media, including being published in the Wall Street Journal and The Australian; appearing on ABC1’s Q&A, and radio, particularly Melbourne community station Joy 94.9’s media program The Spin.
Earlier this year he was included in The Australian’s ‘Next 100’ list of emerging leaders of Australian society.
He’s also worked in and out of State and Federal politics, for communications and policy consultancies and delivered aid and development programs across South East Asia.
Spending far too much time at University, he was a twice elected Student President at Monash University, was elected to the University Council, and even completed two degrees in the few hours not consumed by student politics.
