Shannon O’Meara is an Australian journalist and works for News Corp in New York.

Her career started by reading news bulletins at the dinner table to annoy of her four sisters.

After studying Liberal Studies at Sydney Uni she backpacked until she ran out of money and got a job at News International in London. Eventually she became a reporter on thelondonpaper (now defunct) and has also written for Marie Claire and Grazia Magazines Australia.
