Professor Robert Norman is Professor of Reproductive and Periconceptual Medicine at the University of Adelaide and is the Director of the University’s Robinson Institute – a collection of more than 450 researchers in reproductive health and regenerative medicine.
Professor Norman is a world-leading specialist in IVF, where a female egg is fertilised by male sperm outside the human body, and Periconceptual Medicine, which explores the effect of lifestyle on reproduction and fertility.
Over the past 30 years Professor Norman has published more than 330 articles in the field, has won numerous research awards, and he has been a leading consultant in Reproductive and Periconceptual Medicine worldwide.
He also serves on the National Health and Medical Research Council’s research and embryo licensing committees.
