Patty Huntington
Patty Huntington is a Sydney-based journalist who has been writing about fashion for the past 20 years.
A former editor of Australian fashion industry newsmagazine Ragtrader, she has been the Australasian correspondent of US industry newspaper Womens Wear Daily since 1996 and has been published in almost every Australian newspaper, as well as business magazines such as The Bulletin and The Australian Financial Review Magazine.
She has also spent four years working as a current affairs television producer for the Seven Network, in addition to other networks, including CNN, as part of its Sydney 2000 Olympics team.
A former fashion reporter for The Sydney Morning Herald, for the past four years she has specialised in new media, blogging for both smh.com.au and news.com.au – while covering the international fashion runway show circuit, from New York to London, Milan and Paris for both outlets. In July 2008, she launched her personal blog frockwriter.
