Michael Brown has extensive experience in corporate and elite sports management. His career in sport began as Football Manager at North Melbourne Football Club from 1990-1992.
In 1998 he took over as Chief Executive at Hawthorn Football Club and during the next four years took Hawthorn from a revenue base of $11 million to $30 million.
In 2002 Michael became General Manager/Deputy CEO with Cricket Australia. He managed day-to-day cricket activities including the operation and contracting of Australia’s men’s and women’s cricketers and teams, international and domestic programming and security and anti-corruption.
In January, Michael started as CEO with Asian Football Confederation’s Asian Cup Australia 2015.
