Martha Tattersall

Martha Tattersall is Communications Manager at UNICEF Australia. Martha has recently returned from a secondment with UNICEF in Laos, where she visited and reported on UNICEF programs ranging from immunisation outreach in Bolikhamxay, nutrition programs in Attapeu and education in Luang Prabang. She spoke to concerned parliamentarians on the issue of cluster munitions last week.

A Sydney writer who has worked previously as a feature and print journalist, Martha’s work has been published in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and Australian Geographic magazine.

A committed humanitarian, Martha is passionate about promoting the importance of an effective and efficient aid program. You can catch her on 2SER program, AidWorks, an overseas and development-aid focused program airing at 7 pm Wednesday evenings.
