Katie Wood
Katie Wood is Amnesty International Australia’s legal affairs spokesperson.
Katie ensures the organisation’s corporate and other compliance obligations are met; works closely with the inspirational volunteer board; and provides advice and analysis around the legal components of Amnesty’s campaign and other work.
Katie was formerly the Campaign Coordinator for the Counter Terror with Justice Campaign at Amnesty International Australia for several years.
Prior to working at Amnesty, Katie worked as a solicitor predominantly in the area of commercial litigation. Katie holds a BA LLB from the University of Sydney and an LLM (International Law) from the University of New South Wales.
