Joe Vecci
Joe Vecci is a 22 year old university student, currently in his final year of an Economics degree at La Trobe University.
His research is focused on Development Economics with a specific interest in education. In his spare time he works for the Darfur Australia Network (DAN) as the Research Co-ordinator. He has worked closely with and learnt a great deal from the Australian Darfur communities during his work at ‘DAN’.
‘DAN’ aims to raise awareness about the continuing tragedy in the Darfur region of Sudan, assist in the resettlement of Darfuri refugees and build solidarity between the Australian people and the people of Darfur.
