Jason Clare
Jason Clare was born and raised in Cabramatta in Sydney’s west. He has a law degree from the University of NSW and was a senior adviser to NSW Premier Bob Carr and an executive at Transurban.
In November 2007 he was elected to the Australian Parliament. He represents about 140,000 people from Cabramatta to Bankstown - the multi-cultural heart of Australia, and one of the areas bearing the brunt of the global recession.
In April Jason crossed the Kokoda Track with his political sparring partner Scott Morrison, the Member for Cook. Outside politics they are actually good mates.
