Heath Kelly

Heath Kelly is the editor of Australia’s biggest sports magazine, Alpha. His top score at schoolboy cricket was 77 not out for which he received a McDonald’s Encouragement Award at school assembly while he also once scored three tries in an U/10 rugby match for the Easts Tigers in Brisbane. Having scaled those dizzy heights he turned to sports journalism. He thinks the best perk of the job is that he doesn’t have to argue his case to watch sport as it’s all for “research purposes”. When he’s not scanning the Fox Sports channels he’s playing Snakes and Ladders with his daughter or introducing his son to the intricacies of cricket.
