Deborah Erwin

Deborah Erwin worked as a line cook, receptionist, waitress, cinema popcorn girl and stage manager, before committing to a career in journalism. After earning her Poli Sci (Political Science) cap in Toronto, Canada, she fled the cold to write about architecture and sustainable developments in steamy Hong Kong. Since moving to Sydney, she has covered social justice, politics and property stories for City News, City Hub and the Southern Courier.
