Clare Burns
Clare was born and raised in Melbourne, went to an all girls Catholic high school and studied Theatre and English at La Trobe uni. She backpacked for a year and a half after finishing university, and whilst on the road realised that she actually couldn’t be bothered with the pretention of theatre and decided to try and live a life that made a difference to the world. So upon returning to Australia at the end of 2008, she joined the Labor party and began volunteering and became involved in a large scale arts project with asylum seekers.
