Professor Taylor is Foundation Chair in Social Justice at Edith Cowan University, WA. She has published widely in the area of sexual violence, two of her books being Court Licensed Abuse (Peter Lang: New York) and Surviving The Legal System (Coulomb: Melbourne). She was a member of the Victorian Law Reform Commission’s Inquiry into Sexual Offences Procedural Law Advisory Committee (2002-2004). The VLRC drew extensively on her work to inform 201 recommendations for law reform. Currently she leads a team of researchers working collaboratively with Victoria Police to improve their response, investigation and management of adult sexual offences.
