Anson Cameron
Anson Cameron lives in Melbourne with his wife and daughters and is the author of five highly acclaimed novels and a ground-breaking collection of short stories. He has written a column for The Age and his work is regularly published in The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald.
He writes by whispering stream-of-consciousness dialogue into a miked earpiece while drinking wine in Melbourne’s cafes. Patrons often think he is muttering at or about them, and arguments and fistfights are not infrequent.
