Angela decided to become a journalist as a wide-eyed 14-year-old dreaming of becoming a writer. She studied journalism and psychology at the University of Queensland before starting as a cadet at a regional newspaper in 2009, covering general news, police rounds, local politics and health. She now works for News Ltd in Brisbane and spends her spare time blogging about life’s big questions, like why do women still do more housework than men? Angela loves travelling (especially to Europe), red wine, hot curries and her beloved Brisbane Lions. Follow her on Twitter @AngelaRanke.
