Amos Roberts

Amos is a video journalist for SBS’s award winning international current affairs program, Dateline. He joined Dateline in 2001 and spent almost seven years as Supervising Producer, before returning to on-the-road reporting. During that time he helped mould the program into a showcase for video journalism, producing some of Australia’s finest television current affairs and helping earn the program several Walkley Awards, a Logie, a Rory Peck and a handful of UN Media Peace Prizes. Amos started out producing television current affairs at The 7:30 Report in 1993, and subsequently joined Foreign Correspondent, where he filed stories from Namibia, India, China, Japan, Laos, the Philippines, Indonesia and Italy.
