I still miss Dr Tinman, but I assume he just ran out of ideas or similar. Or perhaps the court case against him didn’t go in his favour. It’s the style of satire that quickly gets hard to keep up at the same calibre, but the Weekend Punch is not the same without it.

I wish him the best of luck in the upcoming appeal.

So, let’s talk about this young mum like she doesn’t have a career or any money of her own…or any capacity to look after herself and her child.  She needs “looking after”. 

I look forward to the day a single dad features in a piece like that.  Someone who needs looking after despite millions, a career and loads of support.

This post will be hard, but I need to post so that men are aware of the risks of prostate cancer..As this will be a fairly long post (by my standards) I not to worried about grammar or punctuation….......In late 2007 I was diognsed with prostate cancer and underwent surgery 11/12/07 to remove my prostate. Further followups cleared me of cancer ,but in febuary last year I developed severe spasms in my back…MRI and bone scans showed severe damage to my bone strcture caused by growth of tumours ‘honeycombing’ my bones. Treatment started immediatly consisting of Hormone Therapy daily tablets and 4 monthly injections slow release hormones….My PSA level at time second diagnosise was over 1300 (normalis under 5) This treatment is classed as a chemical castration as it reduces testosterone in the body effectivly killing of the cancers food supply….These treatments can be effective for many years, or as in my case only 14 months….......Generally when PSA levels beginto rise during treatment (PSA checked every month) the daily tablets are discontinued and the PSA levels start to drop again but not for me….Further tests and scans will tack place later this week to look at further treatments…....I’m not writting this post looking for symphathy, but to make people aware of their health and to have regular checks PSA test, Pap smear etc….I have a loving wife who i adore and love (probably dont tell her enough ) 3 Lovely daughters and 7 grand kids that i intend tobe around to see them grow to adults…....As i said earlier i not after symphathy ,it just feels better getting this of my chest and i hope to make people more aware of their own self….........  Footnote I dont “suffer ” from cancer I “have cancer…Thanks for listining.

Talk over lunch was about Journos losing their jobs, Facebook pages closed down, Investigative Websites attacked with dDos, a national media in fear, the misuse of client privilege on conveyancing documents and the Victorian police too busy to attend to the 30 day rule of the Freedom of information documentation.

in the light of any real coverage It’s just mad.

Shall we just forget all this? I have an exquisite Shiraz breathing rhythmically for ron.

I was going through some things from my teenage years (I will be 60 in 2 weeks) and I came across some advice my late father had given me. One of his sayings was to watch out for someone who has been promoted above their ability, they usually take the attitude of “the working class can kiss my arse, I’ve got a bosses job at last’.
It sort of reminded me of our current PM.

I really used to enjoy my Friday Night NRL games on TV but lately I’m beginning to wonder what games the video ref is watching because its not the same as the one that’s being televised. How can they get it wrong so many times and still hold their jobs. The on field Refs are not much better with dubious to say the least calls that bare no resemblance to the game being played. The NRL is trying to attract more viewers but if this farce that they call refereeing continues they will lose them instead.

Now good old recycled Bob our current Foreign Minister has been busy telling us lesser mortals that the good ole USA is not, in his opinion. or his bosses opinion, the slightest bit interested in extraditing silly boy Assange from the UK or Sweden back to their homeland.
