I wonder if Wilson Tuckey will get a full and unconditional apology from Kevin Rudd after the secretary of the Australasian Federation of Tamil Association, Victor Rajakulendran agreed with Wilson that their are probably Tamil Tigers fighters (ie Terrorists) among the asylum seekers.

You have to admit, it’s pretty funny…..

While the quick comments back and forward on the “issue of the day” provide some short term amusement, it does not improve our society. Is there any attempt in any of the Australian political scene (politicians, media or public service) to look at ways to improve the system?

In other words, instead of focusing on “illegal immigrants” {of which the greatest number in Australia are from the United States of America - according to Immigration Department estimates!!}, should there be a focus on improving behaviors for potential participants in politics?
