Brilliant performance as usual by Ms Gillard again today. With the latest Newspoll showing Tones Abbott and his ragged band sinking slowly into the political quicksand I call for one and all to spare a thought for the once great Liberal Party who, almost broke, politically bankrupt are teetering on the edge of extinction. A lacklustre leader in Abbott and an aged frontbench, most of whom it appears are near retirement, makes for political oblivion and that folks is where the Liberals are headed ! And they need only look to their last in power leader Johnny “Eyebrows” to see where the problem all started !

nothing is funnier than the ramblings of an insane man. love your work nosthow.

I missed out again today. Read through the comments though and it kind of sounded as lacklustre as ever. They need to have fancy dress day or something to liven it up a bit. Thank god 2010 is nearing its end. Has been a rough old year for them all.

By ‘politically bankrupt’ don’t you mean devoid of innovative/creative ideas which might move Australia forward?

Gillard is heading for the biggest come uppance of any primeminister.  She thinks she is so clever at question time ,she is brilliant at being like a spoilt child who is fighting for her toy the NBN and cannot quite get hold of it.  She still doesnt realize that people are getting fed up with her antics, it is about time she let a proper cost analysis be carried out.  The Australian public will not let forget what she is doing and they have not forgotten the pink batts and ber fiascos.
If she had anything about her she would not be frightened to be upfront and take decisions which may not please everyone,  and not allow the greens to run the show. But she has lost her way, and all she does is blame the opposition for the situation she finds herself in. and she cannot make a policy decision and keep to it she changes her mind to suit the situation, just like not putting a price on carbon.  I would vote for Labour but not with such a dishonest leader.
