Despite the fact that the overwhelming mass of Australians aren’t the sort of hand-wringing small-business owners, peasant farmers or other sundry petit-bourgeois that put Hitler (and Howard) in power, these marginal elitists think they have the prescription for all, even the numerically overwhelming average wage-earners that have already been duped by these clowns once. I must admit I do enjoy watching them tear each other to shreds in opposition; I can hardly wait to see Abbott sacrificed on the altar of the ‘Fuehrer-prinzip’.

Q time is a process for the government not the opposition. The rules are stacked against the opposition and always have been. There is no obligation to answer the question in order to be relevant.

Anyhow the minister for hair dye;- you know Jool’s ex squeeze simply didn’t want to respond. He knew full well the butcher didn’t contend that his electicity cost went up last year because of the ETS he wanted to know how much further they would rise under the ETS- in a business don’t forget that supplies food, dare I say it , to “working famlies”.

Minister my calculation for the butcher is at least $1,260 as a minimum year on year plus CPI according to the published data. Not Mr Rudd’s secret, confidential ,untabled and unscruitinised “advice from treasury”.
