As someone of Irish ancestry, it amazes me that the rest of the world care. And to be honest I find most of it really rather sad and embarassing, particularly the antics of the Americans. Dyeing the river green, drinking green lager, going on marches, donating to the IRA etc etc, especially as most have never been to Ireland and would struggle to locate it on a map.

Nothing says more about a country, than it patron saint’s day requires everyone to get as drunk as possible, to be sure.

Was going to have a quiet drinking session in Melbourne this morning but have missed my flight (no, not because I was too drunk…) Looks like that drink will have to wait for this arvo, does anyone outside of Ireland know what it’s really about?

We have replaced the purple background of our beauty website: primped.com.au with some gorgeous four leaf clovers -and beauty editor Yas has produced a how-to wear green eyeshadow video. Fun.  Love St Patricks Day.

It's a Sydney thing, but 95.3FM... Why? It used to be all Bohemian Rhapsody and Walk this Way; now it's Father to Son and Country Road. Wah.
