As this is the open bit I thought I might address this to fellow Punchers.
I have noticed that when I make very similar comments on similar subjects
to both The Drum and the Punch (but opposing the ABC “group think” view) that I am almost never published on the former and almost always on the latter. “Curiouser and curiouser” I have muttered to myself. The time to act,
has come. Please search for my new ‘ABC group think’ facebook page, tell fellow Punchers and use it daily. Who knows? It might just change the way we have discussions in Australia. The intro reads:

“This is a group for people who think the Australian Broadcasting Corporation has a form of “group-think” as defined by the ABC Chairman Maurice Newman, which censors views not compatible with theirs. In particular if you have submitted comments to ABC online (including The Drum) and think they belonged in a legitimate, balanced discussion but were inexplicably not published, please re-submit them here with a link to the original discussion page. I am particularly interested in people who have made similar comments on similar subjects to both The Drum and News Digital’s The Punch and whose comments have been published on the latter but not on the former. In this case please cite both comments and both URLs. We are not going to take this anymore! ”

Following on one of yesterdays topics, the death of Tito shows what can happen when people debate “original owners”.

All the time Tito kept the people of the Balkans in check all was well, once he was gone all hell broke out.
