There’s been a dramatic rise in dodgy breast implants rupturing in Aussie women, Puncher Dan Piotrowski reports.
Manufactured by French company PIP, more than 400 Aussie women have found their implants have ruptured. And the medicines watchdog, the TGA, didn’t have the information to handle the crisis when it first started to appear at the start of the year. The manufacturer’s been busted, the company shut down.
