What he should of done, was taken naked photographs of her and displayed them for public devouring.  He would have been supported for this.

Just because you are rich and famous doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t be punished for your crimes.  He pled guilty to rape and then fled the country.  He should be hunted down till the day he dies.

      What about Corey Haim RIP.

41 bills blocked by the Liberal Party in the Senate is an obscene record of simple bloody mindedness!

Corey Haim dead from an overdose? What were the odds of that happening? I’m in shock that he made it to 38!

As for Polanski, every one of those muppets who come out to support him because he’s a ‘great director’ or the like needs to be smacked across the back of the head hard and repeatedly until they get it through their thick heads - he anally raped a 13 year old child!! I don’t care if it was last Tuesday or 40 years ago. Arseholes like that should be hounded wherever they go until the day they die. The US authorities should have hounded that bastard and any government that let him hide in their country and not let it drag out for so long.

The second most commented piece on The Punch is by David Penberthy, who turns out to be none other than the Editor of same. As a Christian I could go into a rambling diatribe on his “For God’s sake, can our MPs just stick to their day jobs”, instead I want to congratulate him.

Not for what he says in his comment, but because he allows views different to his own, sometimes diametrically, to be plastered across the Punch without fear or favour, allowing us out here to sort it all out. But isn’t this as it should be, you ask?

We live in the real world of course, and there is no better online conversation
to contrast this one to than the ABC’s The Drum. It is not just an Editor you are up against but a kind of group-think (where have I heard that before?} that eliminates you before you get to square one.  Time and time again similar comments on similar subjects have been put to The Punch and The Drum. published almost every time on the former, almost never on the latter.

I’m keeping all those rejected now to submit to the ABC Chairman. I think it will consistently prove a bias toward publishing those holding the prevailing ABC view on a given subject. Hopefully it will give him something to think, or perhaps group-think, about.
