Now that Medicine has done all the transplants, lets hear it for a drug that speeds up the healing process, i.e. broken bones, torn muscles and anything physical.

*********Mods: The subject of this comment is “tricky”. I’m making it ‘cause I think it’s better to be aware of such things rather than pretend it doesn’t happen and ignore it. However, I’m aware also that there is a fine line between “making aware” and “telling how to do”. Obviously it’s up to you whether you publish this comment or not***********

Advice Needed: Do I bother emailing the council about this or just let it go?

Working up in a Northern Tassie town a few days ago and we were doing some waymarking in our spare time. Waymarking is a global “game” where you find interesting objects and publish them on the internet with their location from a GPS (see http://www.waymarking.com). It’s a fun activity and it makes participants really look at their environment. Which is why I found myself taking photos in a kids playground…

Before you ring the Feds there were no children present, and if it helps I’ve got two primary school kids. The play equipment is “space-age” themed and looks very “googie” which is the term for all that “jetsons era” architecture (for example see http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM65QC_Satellite_Hotel_Colorado_Springs_CO).

This is the play equipment I was interested in waymarking http://i49.tinypic.com/2m2ykcl.jp. Looking at it I noticed a meme stencilled on the rocket fin that seems to be associated with paedophilia (see http://i47.tinypic.com/1zpiloi.jpg). It’s called pedo-bear or pedobear, search for it on google images and you’ll find it. Some of images found will be illegal in Australia. So be warned, use safe-search.

The town this is in is a very religious place, very tidy and neat and a really nice place. I reckon (hope) it’s a foolish prank by some teenagers. And I guess I’ll have to email the council to let them know and remove it.
